The main event and afterparty are both in Northstar Village. The ceremony and reception will be on the mountain peak at Zephyr Lodge. Guests will load from the Big Springs gondola in the center of the village. The welcome party on Friday will be on/near Lake Tahoe (a 15-20 minute drive from the Village).



There are multiple properties available in Northstar Village, walkable from the lift to/from the ceremony and reception. The website link below will provide up to a 20% discount on hotel rooms and has some 2 - 4 bedroom condos as well. There are also many other VRBO/AirBnB options if you prefer to book directly. Many are a good value and worth a look!



We recommend staying in the village at least Saturday night, but our hope is that you are able to make it a weekend and enjoy the Tahoe area. Our lodging discount codes work with a 2 night minimum and are good from Thursday to Tuesday if you'd like to extend your stay.



Please double check the location of your booking directly, as the village is large, with some properties farther from the main square. Shuttles will be provided after the ceremony, but you may prefer to be walkable. The hotel rooms are all central. Houses and condos vary from a 5 to 20 minute walk.

WHAT TO WEAR: There is no dress code for the wedding, but we expect to be impressed! Don't let us down. Weather in Lake Tahoe in September is generally nice (70's - 80's during the day), though it will get cool in the evenings. You will be riding a lift or gondola to the ceremony, and riding down on one after the reception at night. Bring a jacket or sweater to put over your obviously awesome outfit!



WHAT TO BRING: Yourselves and your party shoes. No gifts please. Your presence is the best gift and means the world to us. Also, you'll be at Lake Tahoe, so bring your swimsuit, hiking shoes, silly-looking hat, etc, if you plan to partake in the outdoors (which we highly recommend).



WHO TO BRING: Children are welcome at the welcome party and in the village, but no kiddos at the ceremony and reception please. There are larger condos and residences available so feel free to bring a parent or childcare option with you for a fun weekend in Tahoe.



HOW TO GET AROUND: There are shuttles in the village, and a dial-a-ride service that is pretty responsive. We will provide in-village transport after the reception ends (i.e. to get to the afterparty or back to your condo/room). There are also Ubers that service Northstar, but Ubers from Lake Tahoe back are less reliable. Driving to/from the welcome party is recommended.
